Who is Scotia Cabins?
Way back in 2014 (good times) Craig and Caroline were looking for a way to diversify their 3rd generation family farm. With what were two small children at the time, Caroline didn't really want to go back to teaching, so an event at Perth Racecourse was attended, where a UK cabins company were looking for a distributor in Scotland. You could say it was fate.
A frantic couple of months later, and in January 2015, Scotia Cabins started, with Craig, Caroline, and Craig's school friend Graeme helping with the installations. Over the last ten years, Scotia Cabins has expanded a bit, and now as we head into our 10th year, we have a settled staff, of still Craig, Caroline, and Graeme, along with Rich, Grant and Kirean on the installs. We have a few more external companies and people who help keep this ship on course.
We now work with Cosy Garden Rooms for our Garden Room projects, and Luxury Grill Cabins for our bbq huts. Rexener are still our hot tub people, and it has been fun getting to know everyone within these companies and building up trust and support on both sides.
Now, after 11 years, we are pretty secure in what we are doing, how to do it, and how to give you, our customers, the best possible bbq huts, garden rooms, hot tubs saunas and Traeger grills, you can get in Scotland. Who knows what the next 11 will bring!
When you come to see us here on the show site in Abernethy, you will also maybe get to meet some of the many 'assistants' we have, in Gussie, Mac (our dogs), the horses, sheep, cows, the ever meandering pgymy goats (Rocket, Taffy and Spike) and if you are really lucky, the cats Ernest and Milo!
