Who is Scotia Cabins?
Way back in 2014 (good times) Craig and Caroline were looking for a way to diversify their 3rd generation family farm. With what were two small children at the time, Caroline didn't really want to go back to teaching, so an event at Perth Racecourse was attended, where Arctic Cabins were looking for a distributor in Scotland. You could say it was fate.
A frantic couple of months later, and in January 2015, Scotia Cabins started, with Craig, Caroline, and Craig's school friend Graeme helping with the installations. Over the last ten years, Scotia Cabins has expanded a bit, and now as we head into our 10th year, we have a settled staff, of still Craig, Caroline, and Graeme, along with Rich, Johnny, Grant and Johnny on the installs. We have Mandy who helps with our accounts and a few more external companies and people who help keep this ship on course.
Now, after 10 years, we are pretty secure in what we are doing, how to do it, and how to give you, our customers, the best possible bbq huts, garden rooms, diesel hot tubs and Traeger grills, you can get in Scotland. Who knows what the next 10 will bring!
When you come to see us here on the show site in Abernethy, you will also maybe get to meet some of the many 'assistants' we have, in Gussie, Mac and Rocky (our dogs), the horses, sheep, cows, the ever meandering pgymy goats (Rocket, Taffy and Spike) and if you are really lucky, the cats Ernest and Milo!
